Day 1 | Ahmedabad arrival and sightseeing

Ahmedabad is the largest city of Gujarat and Sabarmati rivers runs through this city. After your arrival you will be taken to visit the Sabarmati Ashram- Residence of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Gandhi.  You will get to see some of the personal letters and photographs in the Gandhi Smarak Sangrhalaya of Sabarmati Ashram. Post this you will be taken to the Hathee singh Jain Temple which is dedicated to 15th Jain homologous Dharmanath. The Jama Masjid or Juma Masjid comes next on this list which is considered as one of the most beautifully constructed mosques of the country. You may roam local streets to try some delicious food and get some traditional wall hangings as souvenirs. Night stay at hotel.

Day 2 | Lothal Sightseeing

Post breakfast, you will be taken to the Lothal Harappan period Archaeological site. It is one of the cities from Indus valley civilization that was discovered in 1954. Lothal had world’s earliest irrigation tank that was connected to the Sabarmati River. It was a trade center in ancient times and shared goods with Persia, Egypt, Bahrain and Sumer. After excursion of city of earliest human civilization, you will be escorted to your hotel in Ahmedabad.

Day 3 | Dasada Transfer & sightseeing

In the morning, post breakfast you will be transferred to Dasada ( A little part of Rann of Kutch). This place is famous for the Wild Asiatic Ass that is only found in Dasada. You will be taken to the Wild Ass Sanctuary, which is home of many other mammals like Chinkara, Indian wolf, Indian Fox, Desert Cats and blue bull. During winters you may catch some of the migratory birds- Flamingo, Pelicans, Cranes, Storks in this region. You may also pay visit to the local village for some handmade traditional clothes. You will be escorted to your hotel after this for night stay.

 

Day 4 | Gondal Transfer & sightseeing

Post break fat you will be transferred to Gondal which is famous for its ancient forts and palaces. You will be taken to the Navalakha palace which is the most ancient palace at this place made in 17th century. You will visit the riverside palace after this that is made on the bank of Gondali river, it was constructed in 1875 by Maharaja Bhagwat Singh Ji. This palace is famous for its antique wooden furniture with is colonial style. Post this you will be taken to the Huzoor Palace. It is the current royal palace and only one wing of this palace is open for public- Orchard Palace. You will be escorted to your hotel after this for the night stay.

Day 5 | Gir Transfer and sightseeing

Post  breakfast, you will be transferred to experience thrilling Jungle Safari in the Gir National park in the morning and later at the noon time. Gir is home of 44 magnificent Asiatic lions and 250 migratory bird species.
There are 40 recorded species of Reptiles including Crocodiles as well. The Gir Forest is a deciduous forest with large patches of Grasslands and isolated hills. It’s a paradise for those who love interacting with nature, a perfect place to catch wildlife in action. After this jungle safari you will be escorted to your hotel for night stay.

Day 6 | Sayla Transfer & sightseeing

Post breakfast, you will be transferred to Sayla where after some rest at your hotel, you will visit the Navlakha temple that was built by Chalukyan Solanki Dynesty during 11th and 12th century. Post this you will be taken to the Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary where you can observe migratory birds like flamingoes a, Geese, Cranes and Spoonbill birds. You will be escorted to your hotel for the night stay after this.

Day 7 | Ahmedabad Transfer

Post breakfast, you will be transferred to Ahmedabad with majestic memories of your trip.
